Welcome!! It's great to have you aboard. Nice looking car! That's the same color mine was when I bought it. That's funny that you live close to Fred...you wouldn't think there would be so many '60 Oldsmobiles in France . Anyway, welcome to the board! I will try to help you for translation because, even if I'm not so good in english, I guess it will be better than a translator.

The bertrand's Oldsmobile comes from USA. It was imported I don't know when but the car used to "live" in Belgium before to come in the Bertrand's garage.
I know that car but Bertrand has to presents "her" himself. All I can say, Bertrand is doing actually a full restoration of the car and it's a good job really. The project is a challenge but Bertrand is the kind of guy who's determined.

Well, speaking about work, I have to redone the front end of my sceni coupe S88. I just received some new parts from Kanter and now it's up to me.
All the rubber parts and the ball joints are worn. There is an excessive play in the direction and the steering wheel is completely off center.

Hi Fred!
Your English always seemed fine to me . The translators work "okay", but seem to get confused when you throw in words that are automotive specific. Still, I think we get the general idea. It looks like he's done a really good job so far...I'm looking forward to seeing more of his project. And feel free to post some pics of your work on the S88 . Oh, and thanks again for sending me all that stuff...did you take a look at the "factory literature" yet? It's gotten a lot bigger since you sent that stuff...
