It's a 98, not a D88...and the engine was painted gold like a 371. Like I said, strange to do a complete (and stock) restoration and get a detail like that wrong. Oh well...not that big of a deal to pull the engine and paint it. Make a weekend out of it. Pretty car either way. And yes, the Dynamic convertible was considerably cheaper than the 98. This one would have been $4362.00 MSRP, a Dynamic was only $3284 (quite a bargain I think). My 98 hardtop cost more than the D88 convertible...crazy!
